From the ancient alchemy to today＇s high technology, technique has always been the driving power for the advancement of people＇s civilization. An enterprise＇s development also depends on innovation. Thanks to the great support from scientific committees of Zhejiang Province and the board of directors of company, Zhejiang Feihong Group set up the research and development center in March of 2003.
With the guiding ideology of "making innovation and serving enterprise", the R&D center is occupied in scientific and technological research and development, and has got strong researching and developing power. The center has one senior engineer, 10 engineers, six assistant engineers, and more than 10 technicians. The development team is young, professional and qualified. They provide continuous driving force to the development of Feihong Group. As the director of research and development center, senior engineer Mr. Chen Bingyan is one of the researchers early engaged in optical cable transmission theory in China. He was graduated from electric machine department of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1962, and formerly worked in the No.23 Research Institute of China Information Industry Department. At the beginnings of 1980s, he successively served in American DELAWARE State University and GTE Laboratories for the academic lecturing and research of optical cable technique and communication, with eminent achievements. Now, he acts as the general engineer of Zhejiang Feihong Communication Group. R&D center aims at (1) promoting technical innovation. Innovation is the essence and driving force for a nation to develop prosperously. The center mainly researches and develops optical cable products and optical device, blended with many other subjects. (2) training talents. First class talents are essential for first class products. The center employs talents by all means and set up encouragement system to retain them.
 
The main advanced apparatus and device of R&D center: differential thermal analyzer, moisture tester of petroleum, drop point tester of lubricating grease, pull test machine, flat vulcanizing machine, plastic mixing mill and fusion flow rate instrument, etc.
Projects that the center has developed include broad band cable, central bunch tubular cable, optical fiber cord, ADSS designing software and optical cable oils, etc. Projects under development include missile guidance cable, metal core MU connector and computer ERP software, etc.
Since the establishment, the center focuses on combination of production, study and research. Cooperation and research are carried out in all aspects. The center sincerely invites learned people to join us for cooperation and mutual development.
